JAMES LUTZ

"The arts are the most direct method of emotional communication from one person to another. I consider helping facilitate the conversation between artist and audience to be the highest privilege."

My fascination with audio began at an early age. When I was sixteen years old I purchased my first PA and began renting it out to local bands and DJs. My professional life began in 2011 when I began working at a multi-venue non-profit arts center. Since then my career has led me to work as a production manager for an event production company, Corporate AV technician around the world, Location sound recordist, Recording engineer, and five years in the touring division of Cirque du Soleil.  Through my time spent working with professionals from all corners of the industry, I have honed many skills applicable to a wide range of projects, as well as a thirst to learn more.

My professional goals parallel my personal ones; to grow and be challenged in every step of life. Be it back to back eighteen hour days ensuring every performer gets the service they deserve, or trekking days into the wilderness to capture the perfect sound, I’m at my best when a job needs doing. If you have a project that requires the highest level of professionalism, dedication and creative problem solving, it would be my privilege to help you see it through.
